Terms & Conditions

Booking and general conditions

FIT bookings

All bookings for individual programs must be sent to GoNorth by email (to mail: gonorth@gonorth.is) and GoNorth must confirm the receipt
for a booking to be valid. Any change or cancellation is not considered valid until GoNorth has confirmed the receipt of a change or
cancellation.

FIT booking change fee

GoNorth reserves the right to charge change fee to FIT bookings, if a booking is changed after a full confirmation has been sent. A change fee
of EUR 65.- (or equivalent in other currency) per booking will apply if confirmed booking is changed or selected services cancelled from the
booking. The change fee will apply to following changes: change of arrival date, change of accommodation for selected nights, adding or
cancelling services that result in change to other confirmed services as well as other possible changes affecting the itinerary.
Cancellation of a confirmed service may result in change fee as well as cancellation fee if cancellation is done within 3 weeks’ prior to arrival
date of booking, see Cancellation article.

Group bookings

For all group bookings, the following procedure applies for name lists.
Status list of bookings is required 12 weeks prior to arrival. Group booking can be cancelled at no cost until 12 weeks prior to arrival. If the
group is cancelled with less than 12 weeks’ notice, cancellation fee will apply.
Name list is required no later than 8 weeks prior to arrival, at which time up to 3 rooms can be kept under NoName for additional selling
(needs to be reconfirmed for every departure).
Final name list must reach GoNorth no later than 5 weeks prior to arrival. Any additional bookings after this are on request basis.

Accommodation room type

Room size and bed layout is very different from one accommodation to another. In general, when in hotel or guesthouse, a double room has
two single beds pushed together, using double bed base linen (although it is not usual for single duvets to be provided for double). The same
room is therefore offered as double or twin. Booking a single room does not guarantee the provision of a double or twin room, it may be a
smaller room with single bed. Larger size triple or quad rooms are not widely available. When booking a triple, clients should expect a double
bed room with extra bed, also when booking for three adults and space will therefore be limited. It is not advised to book quad room for four
adults, unless specifically confirmed by GoNorth. When booking children in extra bed with adults, clients should expect a camp bed, rollaway
or mattress on the floor.
Other room types are available for cottages, apartments and sleeping bag accommodations.

Validity of prices

All prices shown in pricelists and quoted are based on current taxes and exchange rate. GoNorth reserves the right to change all prices quoted
or published in the event of currency fluctuation, change in government taxes or any other cost change that is outside GoNorth’s control. Any
eventual change in rate will not be made with less than 6 weeks’ notice and will be sent by email. Changes of prices will apply to all new
bookings.
In the event of rate change the following conditions apply to confirmed bookings (unpaid or partly paid): GoNorth will absorb an amount
equivalent to 5% of the earlier confirmed booking price but amounts that exceed 5% will be charged; however, clients/travelers are entitled to
cancel their booking with full refund if they do not accept the price change. Rates will not be changed for fully paid bookings.
Unforeseen admission fees to nature sites are not included in the price and may need to be added.

Terms of Payment

For individual bookings and FIT packages, a down payment of 30% shall reach GoNorth no later than 28 days after a booking has been
confirmed by GoNorth (if booking is made within 4 weeks prior to arrival, due date of full payment will apply, as per confirmation). Full
payment shall reach GoNorth no later than 4 weeks prior to client arrival. In case of delay in payment, GoNorth reserves the right to consider
the booking cancelled, will withdraw its confirmation and will not hold any services for the booking.
For group bookings (more than 9 passengers traveling together) a nonrefundable deposit of 10% of the total package price should reach
GoNorth no later than 12 weeks prior to arrival. Payment terms for groups may be stricter, if hotels confirmed have stricter conditions, for
incentive groups or in other special occasions.
Full payment for groups (less deposit) shall reach GoNorth at least 6 weeks prior to arrival. In case of delay in payment, GoNorth reserves the
right to treat this as a cancellation and withdraw its confirmation, or to charge the individual traveler upon his arrival in Iceland.

GoNorth reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries or departure times, without prior notice, should the necessity arise. In case of change in

transfers etc.) and GoNorth therefor advice all clients to be insured. Clients are also on their own responsibility in optional tours, such as riding
tours and snow scooter tours.
All complaints must reach GoNorth with 10 days from departure from Iceland. Otherwise possible compensations may not be valid. All
complaints should be directed through the agent that booked, not received directly from the passenger.
